First steps

You should see this icon in the FoxyTunes plug-in.
Clicking on this icon brings up the list of players available to control.
Select your media player.
That's it! You are ready to start using FoxyTunes in Yahoo! Messenger - you can control your media player, see what's playing, and share what's playing in your status.

Please consider taking a vote for your player to let us and everyone else know you are using the player and like it. We will try to add support for the most popular players first.

FoxyTunes will launch the player application if it is not running and you push one of the FoxyTunes control buttons.

Basic operation

The three basic playback buttons are: Previous track, Play/Pause, Next Track.
The "Track Information" button allows getting more information about the artist and/or track that's currently playing. Just click to be taken to the FoxyTunes Planet website.
The "Quick Switch" button can be used to show and hide the player window as well as switch to a different player.
The volume control panel has a mute option and a volume slider.
The "Share" button brings up a preference panel that lets you choose to share what you're listening to with your friends as your status.

Configuration

The "Share" button has an option to set your Yahoo! Messenger status to the currently playing track in FoxyTunes. This is a great way to share your favorite music with your friends.
