The "Share" button
brings up a preference panel that lets you choose to share what you're listening to with your friends as your status.
Uncheck the checkbox in the preferences panel and click the 'x' in the top right to close the panel. Your preference is now saved.
FoxyTunes for Yahoo! Messenger can be uninstalled from . Then find the FoxyTunes plug-in in the Plug-ins Manager and click the "Stop" button.
The most common reason for a player not being supported by FoxyTunes is that there is no way to externally control it from another application. Many media players have documented control interfaces, while others are just stand alone applications that cannot be controlled by other programs (like FoxyTunes). If your player isn't supported by FoxyTunes and you know that it does have a control interface please send us a link to the relevant information.

Sometimes Messenger locks some files on your machine that FoxyTunes needs to update to install itself. Restarting Messenger will free up those files so that you can re-install the FoxyTunes plug-in with no errors. If you try this and still have issues, please let us know.
The FoxyTunes for Yahoo! Messenger plug-in encountered a hung process, locked files, or some other unpleasantry. Restarting your computer could fix this, but don't do it just for us. If a reboot doesn't get everything working smoothly again, please let us know.
Re-installing the plug-in will force FoxyTunes to be uninstalled and re-installed from scratch. This should fix any issues that you were having. Give it one more shot and if that doesn't work, please let us know.
