Yuri plays drums in the punk rock band MxPx. In 1992, while still in high school, Yuri started the band with Mike Herrera and Andy Husted. Andy Husted was replaced by Tom Wisniewski two years later. Yuri plays Truth Drums, Paiste cymbals and uses Pro-Mark sticks and Drum Workshop hardware.
