Whiplash was an American thrash metal band. The band was founded in 1984 in Passaic, New Jersey by the three Tony's. Glenn Hansen and Joe Cangelosi were part of perhaps the best Whiplash album titled "Insult to Injury". The band split up several times, but finally called it quits in 1998. One of the most underrated bass players in music, Tony Bono died in 2002 of a heart attack.
