Tree63 is a Christian Contemporary rock band from Durban, South Africa formed in 1996 currently featuring John Ellis on vocals, guitar and piano, Tain Odendaal on drums and Daniel Ornellas on bass guitar. Originally, the band was unnamed.

Tree63 is a Christian Contemporary rock band from Durban, South Africa formed in 1996 currently featuring John Ellis on vocals, guitar and piano, Tain Odendaal on drums and Daniel Ornellas on bass guitar. Originally, the band was unnamed. John Ellis, the group's founder, came up with the name Tree in 1997. They added the 63 in 2000 due to a naming conflict with an American band. 63 had been the name of their second album, which was named in reference to Psalm 63.
