Tim Bogert was the bassist from Vanilla Fudge and Beck, Bogert and Appice featuring legendary guitarist Jeff Beck and Carmine Appice also from Vanilla Fudge and later Rod Stewart's band. In 1970 he formed a rock band, The Cactus with Carmine Appice,Jim McCarty and Rusty Day after Beck bike accident.
