Thousand Foot Krutch is a Canadian Christian metal band composed of Trevor McNevan (vocals), Steve Augustine (drums), and Joel Bruyere (bass). Trevor and Steve are also in FM Static.

Singer, songwriter, and band founder of Thousand Foot Krutch (also known as TFK), Trevor started the band while still in high school. He started the band in Peterborough Ontario, a city northeast of Toronto. Joel (pronounced "Joe-ell") Bruyere, was McNevan's childhood friend who had moved away earlier, then years later came back just in time. Drummer Steve Augustine is from nearby Hamilton. They now consider the Toronto area home, when not touring. The name of the band, as they explain, refers to God-in times of need, God is there to support you, regardless of the size of your problems-in effect, your "crutch".
