The Young Fresh Fellows are an American alternative rock group that was formed in 1982 in Seattle, Washington. Original members were Scott McCaughey (vocals/bass), Chuck Carroll (guitar), and Tad Hutchinson (drums). Their first album was 1984's The Fabulous Sounds of the Pacific Northwest. After its release, Jim Sangster joined the group on bass and McCaughey switched to guitar. Carroll left the group in 1988.
