The Rugburns was an American musical group originally formed by Steve Poltz and Robert Driscoll.

In the late 1980's and early 1990's Poltz and Driscoll played as an acoustic duo in various coffeehouses and bars in the San Diego, CA area including the Blarneystone Pub, Interchange Coffee House, and Java Joe's. Poltz wrote most of the songs, with Driscoll contributing several songs along the way. The duo released several self-produced cassette tapes.
