The name of the band comes mainly from the fact that the band did not yet have a name and a few people called it "The Go's new band", then its became "The Go band", so it then became "The Go Set". As the band developed - the name has become two-fold, its an energetic live set, so The GO Set suits the live show. "GO hard".
