The Fartz

The Fartz were one of the first well known Hardcore bands from Seattle, Washington. In 1982 they released a LP entitled "World Full of Hate" on Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles Records.

The Fartz were one of the first well known Hardcore bands from Seattle, Washington. In 1982 they released a LP entitled "World Full of Hate" on Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles Records. Vocalist Blaine Cook later went on to sing for the hardcore/thrash band The Accüsed. Early drummer Duff McKagan later gained notoriety as a member of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses.

They continued to play shows in Washington and surrounding states till about around 2003.
