In a world where many artists in Christian hip hop and CCM water down the message that they are trying to present, the Cross movement is considered by many to be trailblazers in the Christian music industry. The band members, however, may not think of themselves as such, but realize that they have a great responsibility to keep Jesus at the forefront of everything they do. The Cross movement strives to be an example of how to effectively merge the two components of industry and ministry. The group has even formed a ministry called Cross Movement Ministries, a separate and unique intiative apart from the hip hop group, though it bears the same name. The main goal of Cross Movement Ministries is to use creative ways to reach the hip hop culture.
