The Broadways were a powerful melodic punk band from Chicago, Illinois. The group formed after the dissolution of legendary Chicago ska-punk band Slapstick, and wasBrendan Kelly and Dan Hanaway (Slapstick's trumpet player). Political, social, and introspective themes abound in their profound lyrics.

The band broke up in 1999, and Brandan Kelly and Chris McCaughan went off to form The Lawrence Arms and Dan Hanaway and Rob DePaola went off to form The Honor System.
