The Blue Hearts were a popular Japanese upbeat punk rock band. The group's members were Hiroto Koumoto (vocalist), Masatoshi Mashima (guitarist), Juunosuke Kawaguchi (bassist) and Tetsuya Kajiwara (drummer). They made their major debut in May 1987. The Blue Hearts broke up in 1994; members Koumoto and Mashima then became the founding members of another band, The High-Lows.

Some of their songs are popular to some extent, specially Train-Train, which nowadays can be found at many karaokes.
