The Terror Squad is a latin rap crew from The Bronx, New York that is best known for its members Big Pun and Fat Joe. The roster included Fat Joe, Big Pun, Cuban Link, Prospect, Armageddeon and Triple Seis. Tony Sunshine at the time was not a member of the group though he did do some singing for them. They released their eponymous debut, Terror Squad, in 1999. The song "What Cha Gon Do," mostly created by Big Pun, was their first major hit. Fat Joe and Big Pun were the members in the crew who had the most successful solo spots.
Tragedy struck the crew when Big Pun died of a heart attack in 2000. His longtime partners Cuban Link and Triple Seis left the group after his death. Following this Fat Joe signed both Remy Martin and Tony Sunshine to the squad. They released their second album, True Story, in 2004. It included the summer club hit "Lean Back," produced by Dr. Dre associate (and former Roots keyboardist) Scott Storch. "Lean Back" peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #24 in the UK.But the album sales were a disappoinment as "True Story" failed to go gold
