System 7 is a band working in the dance/ambient scene. For legal reasons, they are known as 777 in North America. The core of the band is the couple Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy.

In 1995, the band released a double album entitled System 7.3 Fire+Water (also available as two separate albums): Fire and Water offer remixes of the same material, Fire using more drums and rhythms while Water is more ambient.
