Sweet Sensation was the name of a female dance music trio from the Bronx, New York who specialized in freestyle between 1987 until 1992. Group members were Betty LeBron and sisters Margie and Mari Fernandez. In the late '80s they placed several songs on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, including "Never Let You Go," which hit #1. In 1989 Mari was replaced by Sheila Bega and the group earned its biggest hit in 1990 when the ballad "If Wishes Came True" hit #1 on the Hot 100.

They are not to be confused with the soul group from Manchester England also called Sweet Sensation ("Sad Sweet Dreamer," Hot 100 #14 in 1975).
