Steve Strange (born May 28, 1959), born Steven John Harrington in Porthcawl, south Wales, was the frontman and singer for the band Visage. He is often touted as the original New Romantic, and was one of the Blitz Kids.

At 15, he left Wales for London where he worked for Malcolm McLaren and befriended Glen Matlock of the Sex Pistols. He designed posters, choreographed videos and ran several night clubs, including Blitz.
