The Sound Providers is a Jazz-rap duo formed by Jason Skills and "Soulo." Formed in 1998 in San Diego, California, it originally included a third member, an MC who has since left the group. The Sound Providers have produced a number of singles as well as an album An Evening with the Sound Providers, recorded and produced in San Diego and Los Angeles, released in 2004 on ABB Records.

Though Jason now lives in Florida where he teaches recording engineering, the group's website states that the duo remains active.
