Single Gun Theory is an Australian band made up of Jacqui Hunt (vocals), Pete Rivett-Carnac, and Kath Power initially recording on the Volition Records label. Their music combines elements of downtempo electronic dance music (such as programmed beats and synthesizers) with introspective, ethereal vocals and samples of dialogue (often identifiably New Age). They have released three albums and a soundtrack since 1987, including the score for the Australian film The Monkey's Mask in 2000.
