Sally Oldfield

Sally Oldfield (born in August 1950 in Dublin, Ireland) is a folk singer and the older sister of songwriter and composer Mike Oldfield and less known Terry Oldfield.

After spending her childhood partly in Dublin and partly in Reading, Berkshire, Sally joined the Royal Academy of Dancing at the age of 12 to study ballet dancing. However, she quit dancing only four years later and unsuccessfully attempted to study music.
