Safety Scissors is Matthew Patterson Curry, an electronica artist born in Minneapolis, MN. He moved to the San Fransisco area for a short while for Art School. Curry then decided to focus more on music, and eventually joined "Belief Systems/Context Records" where he began working with Kit Clayton, Sutekh, and Twerk. Curry also performs under the name Moron with Seth Horvitz (AKA Sutekh). In 2000 Curry moved to Berlin.

He has released 2 full length albums, "Parts Water" in 2001 and "Tainted Lunch" (which is under Scape) in 2005.
