Mike Paradinas, who works primarily under the name µ-ziq (pronounced music), is a British musician in the field of electronic music. Paradinas created and runs the Planet Mu record label. He makes his music with Reason 3.0 and is most known for his Intelligent Dance Music (IDM) tracks ("Carpet Muncher" and "Brace Yourself" in particular).

Paradinas teamed up with Richard D. James (Aphex Twin) in 1996 to release Expert Knob Twiddlers (often mistakenly assumed to be recorded under the non-existent artist name "Mike and Rich", which is what is displayed on the CD's front cover. The actual name of the collaborative project was ill-defined). The album is thematically full of odd game-related noises and playful melodies.
