Rodney Linderman, better known by his former stage name Rodney Anonymous (and such variations thereof as "Rodney Amadeus Anonymous" and "Rodney Anonymous Mellencamp"), is a Philadelphia, PA, musician and humorist. As songwriter and vocalist of The Dead Milkmen from 1983 until the band's separation in 1995, Anonymous's brand of satirical punk rock peaked in popularity on college radio in the late 1980s.

Since the breakup of The Dead Milkmen, Linderman has continued to produce independent music. His post-Milkmen band, Burn Witch Burn, blended American roots music and folk with Pogues-style Celtic punk. The band released one EP and one full-length album before splitting. In September, 2005, Linderman announced the formation of a new band, Mike Hunt's Honorable Discharge.
