Peter Savelkoul (b. 1975) started his musical career at the age of 9 in a local Fanfare. Between 1989-1991 he joined several Noise metal bands ending up in a Black metal band called Belphegor (nl) in 1991. In 1995 he acquired electronic instruments and started making electro-acoustic music resulting in a few projects; Blood Under The Ice (1996) and Materialschlacht (1997-2000). In 2000 he joined A Challenge of Honour together with the German Johan König (now-Laharis) and they released the first album Only Stones Remain.
