Pepper J. Keenan is the guitarist and vocalist for the heavy metal band Corrosion of Conformity. He is also guitar player for the band Down, along with Phil Anselmo. Keenan joined Corrosion of Conformity in 1990, but did not become lead singer until 1992.

Keenan was born in Oxford, Mississippi at the time his dad was enrolled at Ole Miss but now lives in New Orleans. His dad, a former musician, is now a local real estate appraiser in New Orleans.
