Patrick Wolf (born June 30, 1983) is a musician who was born in St Thomas' Hospital, London, England and grew up in South London. He began recording songs with his violin, voice and car boot sale organs on a four-track tape recorder at the age of eleven.

He started his musical education with rigorous violin lessons and church choirs some years earlier but it wasn't until he got obsessed with early twentieth-century electronics that a strong ambition to create new and innovative music was developed.
