Old Man's Child is a Norwegian melodic black metal band that was founded in 1993. Old Man's Child is the brainchild of Galder (real name Thomas Rune Anderson) who was formerly known as Grusom. Galder is the vocalist and plays lead guitar, bass, acoustic guitars, and keyboards. He is also known for his work in another melodic black metal band, Dimmu Borgir.

As of 2005, Galder is the only member of the band. Though not an official member of the band, Reno Kiilerich plays session drums on Old Man's Child's most recent album, Vermin, and tours with the band.
