Nightrage

Nightrage is a Swedish melodic death metal band featuring Greek axemen Marios Iliopoulos and Gus G. Their first release, Sweet Vengeance, was released in 2003 and featured drummer Per M (of The Haunted), and bassist Brice Leclercq.

Their first release, Sweet Vengeance, was released in 2003 and featured drummer Per M (of The Haunted), and bassist Brice Leclercq. Rounding out the band on vocals is the legendary Tomas Lindberg (ex-At The Gates). Sweet Vengeance also featured clean guest vocals by Tom Englund of Evergrey fame.

Their second release, Descent Into Chaos, was released in 2005 and had a change of line up in the rhythm section. Now playing drums is Fotis Benardo (ex-Septic Flesh) and on bass is Henric Carlsson, who also plays in the band Cipher System. Mikael Stanne, of Dark Tranquillity, provided a clean vocal section on the track "Frozen."
