My American Heart is a rock band hailing from San Diego, CA. The band played the Taste Of Chaos tour in 2005 and shorlty afterwards recorded a full-length album entitled The Meaning In Makeup with famed producer Sal Villanueva (Thursday, Taking Back Sunday) that was released on punk/indie legend Kevin Lyman's label, Warcon, in fall 2005.

The band flipped their van and trailer while touring in October, 2005.
