Melora Creager (born March 25 1966) is an American cellist and singer-songwriter. Born in Kansas City, she grew up in Emporia, Kansas, and later she moved to New York City in the 1980s to study art. In 1991 she founded the alternative rock-band Rasputina, of which she is the lead vocalist. She played cello for Nirvana on their 1993/1994 tour.
