Meg Hutchinson (born in 1978 in South Egremont, Massachusetts) is an American folk singer/songwriter. She graduated from Simon's Rock College with a BA in creative writing in 2000, and in the following year, she performed at the Kerrville Folk Festival and various other folk festivals. Her song "The Crossing" is about a bridge in her hometown that was mistakenly built higher than the surrounding road.
