Mark David Hollis (born January 4, 1955 in Tottenham, London, England) is a composer, musician, singer and songwriter. He is most famous as the lead singer of the band Talk Talk. It was he and unofficial Talk Talk member Tim Friese-Greene who took the lead in evolving the band's style from New Romantic to what would later become known as post-rock. In 1998 he released an eponymous post-rock solo album, Mark Hollis.
