Louise was born in London and grew up in the town East Grinstead, West Sussex where she attended Imberhorne Secondary School. She first came to prominence as a member of the all girl group Eternal. After a string of hits in 1993-4 from debut album Always & Forever (which became the first by an all girl group to sell over one million copies in the UK), she left the group in 1995 to pursue a solo career. She is considered by many men to be very attractive.
