Logan Whitehurst was the drummer for the Northern California band Little Tin Frog from 1995 until 2000. He also played keyboards on the Headboard CD "The End Is Near," and performed live with the group on numerous occasions from 1996 to 1997. In 2000, he continued on as a founding member of The Velvet Teen, for which he is best known. Unfortunately, he had to leave the The Velvet Teen, due to his treatment for a cancerous brain tumor. However, after a two year battle, Logan overcame the cancer in December, 2005.

In addition to drumming for The Velvet Teen, he has released a handful of self-recorded solo albums as Logan Whitehurst & the Jr. Science Club. His quirky brand of music has garnered a cult following, receiving frequent airplay on the Dr. Demento radio program. He has also designed numerous album covers for bands such as his sister's band Tsunami Bomb and Dynamite Boy, in addition to The Velvet Teen and Fearless Records.
