Lila Elaine McCann (born December 4, 1981 in Steilacoom, Washington) is a successful country music artist. McCann recorded "Down came a Blackbird" while she was a freshman in high school, she gave her demo to her manager and she soon after signed with Elektra records.

She came out with her first album, titled Lila in 1997. Although it never broke the Top 40 charts, it has gone platinum. Time magazine named her "Most Successful New Artist" in the same year.
