A pop music vocalist and lyricist with an ardent cult following, Katiejane Garside fronted the first incarnation of the band Daisy Chainsaw and did guest vocals for the band Test Department. After retiring from music temporarily, she now sings with Queen Adreena, an independent rock band from London. She has also worked in performance art and artistically altered dolls.She has exhbited at the ICA, London. Lately she has released a solo work, Lalleshwari/Glasswilderness and co-created the comic book entitled Indigo Vertigo with fellow Englishman Dan Schaffer. Formerly, she spelled her name Katie Jane, rather than Katiejane, Garside. Her sister, Melanie Garside, also has a career in music.
