Justin Broadrick is a founding member of the band Godflesh, one of the first bands to crossover elements of grindcore and industrial music, influencing bands such as Ministry and Fear Factory. He also briefly appeared in the lineup of Napalm Death in the early 1980s. Thereafter, he joined Head of David on drums. He turned down offers to join highly visible rock groups such as Faith No More and Danzig. He is also well-known for remixing the works of other groups including Pantera and Hydrahead labelmates, Pelican.
Godflesh broke up in 2002 soon after the departure of fellow founding member G. Christian Green. Broadrick currently fronts the bands Jesu and Final.
