John Reis (b. 1969)is a highly prolific singer/guitarist who is currently a member of Hot Snakes, Rocket From The Crypt and The Sultans. Reis was a member of influential post-hardcore band Drive Like Jehu and its precursor Pitchfork as well as Conservative Itch, Back Off Cupids, Stacco Reads, Custom Floor and Beehive and the Barracudas.

In 1999 Reis released a solo recording under the name "Back Off Cupids." This release is markedly different sound from anything else he had released.
