Jeremy Spencer (born July 4, 1948), a British musician, was one of Fleetwood Mac's early guitarists, joining the band in 1967. His speciality was the slide guitar, and he was strongly influenced by blues musician Elmore James. He remained with the band until 1971, when he joined a religious group called the Children of God. Changing his name to Jonathan (later changing it back to Jeremy), he renounced his possessions and cut his long hair upon joining.

He remains with them to this day, participating in missionary activities and doing studio recordings for the new religious movement throughout Asia and South America (mainly Brazil).
