Jeff Lynne (born December 30, 1947) in Birmingham, UK, is a British singer-songwriter and record producer. He was the co-founder (with Roy Wood) of the Electric Light Orchestra in the 1970s, as well as a co-founder of the Traveling Wilburys in the 1980s. Prior to Electric Light Orchestra, Lynne was a member of The Move and the Idle Race.
In 1987 Lynne produced George Harrison's Cloud Nine, being a Beatles obsessive the two worked together well, the album would turn out to be something of a come-back for Harrison.
