Before she signed a label deal she appeared on two soundtracks, Love Don’t Cost A Thing and That's So Raven, right after Jeannie inked a major recording deal with Hollywood Records, she started work on her debut album No Place Like Brooklyn, with production by Soul Shock & Karlin known for their work with Whitney Houston, JoJo and Wild Orchid. She along with artist like N.O.R.E. and Eric West became major players for the latin community, releasing major albums in 2006.
