He also released an R&B album in the early 90's using just his first name.

Jazze Pha AKA Jazzy Phizzle(born Phalon Alexander) is a hip hop producer and singer born in Memphis, Tennessee. He is a southern based producer who worked with Nelly, Ludacris, Trick Daddy, T.I., Lil' Wayne among others features in production. He is the son of former Bar-Kays bassist James Alexander. Contrary to popular belief, his mother is not R&B/gospel singer Deniece Williams, of "Let's Hear It For The Boy" fame.
