J-Kwon (born Jarrell Jones in 1986) is a rapper from St. Louis currently signed to Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Recordings. He came onto the scene in early 2004 with the novelty single, "Tipsy". The single has been the cause of much controversy as it includes J-Kwon boasting about having a fake I.D. and getting intoxicated in bars and clubs despite being underaged. To date "Tipsy" has been his only siginificant hit.

He also brought out the lesser known "Hood Hop" and "You and Me" which is a song dedicated to all his ex-girlfriends. He contributed "Get XXX'd" featuring Petey Pablo and Ebony Eyez to the XXX: State of The Union Soundtrack. He also made an apperance in Bow Wow's song "Fresh Azimiz" despite being absent from the video.
