Intro5pect is a punk rock band, which often incorporates electronica influences into its music.

The band was formed in 1997 as a reaction to what the future members of the band felt was a commercialization of the punk genre. In 1998 they released a demo tape. In 1999 the Intro5pect 7-inch vinyl EP became the first release of the newly founded record label Geykido Comet Records. In 2002 the band signed to Anti-Flag's A-F Records, which released their self-titled full length album in 2003.
