Integrity is an American hardcore/metalcore band from Cleveland, Ohio that is largely credited for starting the Metalcore scene. The band was started in 1989 and singer/frontman Dwid has been the only constant member. Since 2000, Dwid has led the band into similar territory that Glenn Danzig's old project Samhain had pioneered in, an eerily-laden, gothic horror themed hardcore sound that features dark-lyrics-as-analogies for introspective and sociopolitical issues.
