Himesh is the son of Gujarati music director Vipin Reshammiya. When he was 11 years old, he lost his elder brother.. He did his schooling at Hill Grange School in Peddar Road area, Mumbai. Himesh started his career with a production house which aired quite a few TV soaps on Doordarshan Ahmedabad and Zee TV.
