Formed in Cincinnati, OH - 2001. the Heartless Bastards perform garage rock with a heavy dose of blues reminiscent of the Black Keys.

At 22, Erika Wennerstrom moved to Cincinnati and met Mike Lamping. They hooked up and began playing gigs as the Heartless Bastards. Soon they brought in Kevin Vaughn on drums. In 2003, Erika decided it was time to take it to the next level, and the band struck out on its own.
