Harry and the Potters are an indie/punk wizard rock band from Boston, Massachusetts who formed in 2002. They take their inspiration from J.K. Rowling's book series, Harry Potter. They released their first album, Harry and the Potter (self titled), in July 2003.

The band was formed in the summer of 2002, when all the bands for a concert Joe DeGeorge had organised cancelled. Over the next hour, Paul and Joe wrote 7 songs about Harry Potter. They performed their first concert as Harry and the Potters to a crowd of 6.
