Geno Washington is a British R&B musician who has released five albums with The Ram Jam Band between 1966 and 1969, and eight others on his own beginning in 1976. He is also the man who, in 1984, met a lad called Ian Brown in Manchester, England. Having met for the first time at this 21st Birthday Party, he told Brown he is a star and should start singing. Brown went on to form The Stone Roses, the legendary British guitar band, and have a successful and critically acclaimed solo career.

Geno Washington is also the "Geno" of Dexys Midnight Runners' eponymous 1980 single.
